New Car Prep
While you might not think it is possible for a brand new car to have imperfections, it is still a very real possibility. Our new car prep services are intended for brand new cars coming straight from the dealership or the factory to have a proper and full auto detailing service to remove any imperfections that were missed at the factory or the dealership. Some of the detailing services that we will provide for new car prep auto detailing include cleaning out the exhaust pipes, brightening the windshield and mirrors, as well as removing any fingerprints on the exterior of the car.
New Car Prep
To begin the process of new car prep detailing, we will first give the car a thorough inspection and take note of any imperfections that we notice right off the bat. We will then open up the hood of the car in the doors of the car to further inspect any other areas that can be deep cleaned. For many new cars that were test driven while at the dealership, they can easily accumulate in regular dirt and debris like any other car. However, since this is your new car, it is important that it appears like new and never driven.
With new car prep services, we always arrive on site and ready with a checklist of items to look out for when conducting our new car prep detailing service. This includes everything from the upholstery and interiors to the exteriors and paint details around the car. We will check add-ons and each of the gadgets inside of your car, including the dashboard, lights, mirrors, controls, and other fixtures, to ensure that everything is in working order and looks like new.
Along the way, we do not typically find any major imperfections but we do tend find minor ones that were often missed after the car was shipped or was in possession at the dealership. If the car was on display or served as a test driving car, it may have more imperfections that will need to be buffed out. Some of these and perfections include cleaning the glass in and around the car, touching up the dashboard to remove any dust particles, clearing out the floor mats for any dirt, and even washing the tires to make sure they have no buildup within the grooves.
One of the main reasons that clients may opt to have a new car prep service attended to on their new car, it is to maintain the overall value of the car itself. Many people will also look to have their car “appraised” in its current condition so that the insurance company can provide appropriate feedback on coverage for the car. Maintaining the value of your car can be tricky once you leave the dealership, but ensuring that your car has a new car prep auto detail, you can rest easy knowing that your car is starting from scratch when arriving at your home or in your possession.
